Further to the above-mentioned costs a Rates Clearance Certificate needs to be obtained from the relevant Municipality. There is a fee applicable for this certificate and is ±R 1,000.00, depending on the Municipality. This fee together with rates charged between 3 – 6 months in advanced, needs to be paid. The total amount payable to the Municipality can only be confirmed once we have received same from the Municipality.
